We Believe
- That as a bride, you shouldn't have to sacrifice your budget, nor your impeccable taste, to make the details of your big day just the way you've imagined.
- The average wedding does not have to cost more than what a typical bride and groom have stocked away in their 401ks - combined. Yikes!
- In splurging on a few things that you love...and scrimping on a few that don't really matter.
- In DIY and hiring extra help (you're at your most beautiful when you're the least stressed!).
- That the best marriages start with an understanding of each other's money habits and expectations.
- In giving back. Part of our proceeds benefit The Glass Slipper Project.
- In happily ever after!
Our Story
Once upon a time (at the age of twenty-four to be exact), Meghan Lazier was honored to have stood-up as a bridesmaid in four of her closest friends' weddings, but felt uneasy at the thought of someday spending so much money on a fabulous day of her own. She realized that there needed to be a way to connect style-conscious brides who were total strangers – because there are just some things that friends don't want to share (like the same wedding colors). Like all good fairy tales, the happily ever after is just beginning with the launch of Savvy Cinderella.
Savvy Cinderella is an online classified site for all things wedding. Looking for a once loved ring pillow? Searching every online boutique to find that designer wedding dress you love online? Look no further. Brides-to-be can browse our listings for fabulous wedding day finds. Newlyweds can list their wedding finds here after their big day is done. Savvy Cinderella even offers free listings. Register for an account to get started!

We're hiring
Meghan Lazier
Meghan was inspired to start Savvy Cinderella after standing up in so many of her close friends' weddings. Somewhere between all the taffeta and tears of joy (and a full-time job - check out her personal Web site at www.meglaz.com) Savvy Cinderella opened its online boutique and blog.
Abbi Cawley
With a taste for the finer things, when Abbigail began planning her wedding, she knew it would be the ball the end them all. Practicality eventually set in, and she also refused to set a budget that could subsidize a retirement. Brushing up on her negotiating skills and researching all possibilities proved very cost saving and the end result was exactly as she had dreamed. Calla lilies + raw silk + no homes refinanced = success. Now settling into marriage, Abbigail hopes to share her newfound skills of wrangling the beastly wedding industry with brides everywhere. Because there is no reason you can’t have your five tiered red velvet fondant wedding cake and eat it, too…now is there? Let’s get savvy, ladies.

On the rare cloudy day in Santiago she spends time inside baking cookies or searching for peanut butter in the supermarket. Caitlin is excited to share her penny-pinching tips with brides to be!
Kylie Cheevers
Being the youngest in a large family, Kylie has seen her share of weddings. At age 11, she was a bridesmaid at the first one she ever attended! Now 22 years old, Kylie just graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in Organizational Communication and Creative Writing.
